Biographical Information

I’m a designer focused on how systems feel - sonically, visually, and emotionally. My work touches on sound design, UX, UI and how they all coexist. My principles are always rooted in clarity, tone, and thoughtful intent.

I’ve been writing, producing, and performing music since 2007, which has profoundly shaped how I think about the world. Along the way, I’ve designed interactive installations for institutions like the University of Michigan, explored advanced concepts like generative and spatial audio in major OEM vehicle programs, designed and taught a "Sound Design for UX" curriculum at the College for Creative Studies, and performed live at festivals like Movement in Detroit.

I’m currently the lead sound designer at Ford, responsible for sound across the vehicle, from propulsion and AVAS to alerts, chimes, and sonic branding. I’ve helped define the brand’s overall sound strategy, worked with legal and engineering teams to develop regulation-compliant experiences, and explored how sound can shape the future of driving.

On the visual side, I’ve co-led interface design for major vehicle platforms like the F-150, Mach-E, Bronco, and Lightning; delivered animation work for brands including the Detroit Red Wings and Chevy, and helped 3D model scenes and images currently on display at the Detroit Institute of Arts. I’ve also founded a branding studio called 17th & Rose, focused on visual identity for restaurants and small businesses.

At the heart of everything I do is empathy for the end user. I’m always thinking about how something will feel, sound, and function in the hands, ears, or eyes of the people experiencing it.
