Biographical Information

I’m a multidisciplinary designer and musician living in Detroit, MI. My work touches on sound, visuals, user experience and how they all coexist. My core principles are always rooted in clarity, tone, and thoughtful intent.
I’ve been writing, producing, and performing music since 2007, which has profoundly shaped how I think about the world. Along the way, I’ve designed interactive installations for places like the Detroit Institute of Arts, developed advanced generative audio for major OEM vehicle programs, crafted and taught a "Sound Design for UX" curriculum at the College for Creative Studies, and performed live at festivals like Movement in Detroit.
I’m currently the lead sound designer at Ford, responsible for sound across the vehicle, from propulsion and AVAS to alerts, chimes, and sonic branding. My day-to-day involves making key decisions that shape the UX of our products and how sound plays a role. I’ve helped define the brand’s overall sound strategy, worked with legal and engineering teams to develop regulation-compliant experiences, and explored how sound can shape the future of driving.
On the visual side, I’ve worked on UI design projects for major vehicle platforms like the Mach-E, Bronco, and F-150 Lightning, delivered animation work for brands like the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers, and helped start a design studio called 17th & Rose, where I help restaurants and retail spaces own their visual identities.
At the heart of everything I do is empathy for the end user. I’m always thinking about how something will feel, sound, and function in the hands, ears, or eyes of the people experiencing it.
